住友商事、中国の高品質食肉市場に狙い

住友商事は中国の農牧大手である新希望集団グループの四川新希望農業(四川)と食肉合弁会社を設立する。

中国では高品質な食肉の需要が高まっている。

合弁会社、北京親友食品を2012年3月に設立。資本金は2000万元で四川新希望が51%、住友商事グループが49%出資する。日経より。

"Guard killed as buildings burn" from South China Morning Post

"SICHUAN - One man was killed when fire swept through two adjoining buildings in Chengdu early yesterday morning, Scol.com.cn reports. The fire started in one building at 3am before strong wind carried it to the other building. A nightwatchman burned to death. More than 100 firefighters attended the blaze."

"Beijing approves more hydropower projects" from South China Morning Post

"The mainland has approved several new hydropower projects in a sigh that the government is speeding up development of clean energy after a slowdown in approvals in recent years because of concerns including the projects' environmental impact.

The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said yesterday on its website it approved the construction of the 2.6 gigawatt Changheba hydropower project in Sichuan province this month.
